Rogues are a versatile class, only really lacking in PvM skills but excelling in PvP and WoE. With their strip skills, Rogues can render most classes useless in a PvP environment. With Gank, a Rogue can obtain double the loot another class could gather in the same amount of time. Rogues can wield bows, daggers, or swords and can copy a variety of player skills to help them level, although a Rogue cannot use Intimidate to its full potential like its transcendent counterpart can. On a different note, Rogues can be excellent at soloing things in a PvM environment. Their high dodge, fast attacks, and stealthy nature make them a force to be reckoned with in a dungeon.
Changing into a Rogue from a Thief requires the player to complete a number of tasks:
Minimum Job level requirement: 40.
If Job level is between 40 to 49, >10,000 gear score required.
If Job level is 50, 5,000 gear score required.
After completing these tests, the player will be transformed into a Rogue. Most of this takes place inside the Rogue Guild at the Pharos Lighthouse (cmd_fild07).

Steals Zeny from monsters. It's success rate rises as the skill level is increased. Zeny can only be stolen once from each monster and using this skill will draw the target monster's aggression. Only usable while in Hiding status and will cancel Hiding once used. This attack has a chance of causing Stun and Blind effects on targets within an area of 5x5. A successful hit will cause the enemy to receive 30% more damage for a certain number of hits. However, Boss monsters recieve only 15% more damage. This table shows the various bonus stats that a character can receive as they level up. Each row represents a specific level, and the corresponding bonus stat that is granted at that level. For example, at level 1, the character will receive 1 point in the Agi stat, and at level 2, the character will receive 1 point in Vit Int stat. The bonus stats that are granted at each level can vary, and in this case, the character can receive points in Vitality, Strength, Dexterity, Agility, and Luck stats at different levels.
