The Salvage System transform old items into new ones through an exchange process. It can be used together with other systems, such as the Grade Up System.
Oliver is an inventor. He will assist in repurposing materials to improve your equipment. This will help elevate the quality of your equipment.
The NPC is located in the equipment upgrade area of every city.
The system was created to upgrade equipment to a higher Grade level.
The Grade-Up System in the game lets you upgrade your weapons using Superior stones. Superior stones are obtained by salvaging a weapon that has already been upgraded to +10 or above. Each grade of +10 weapon gives you its specific Superior Weapon Stone grade when salvaged.
Also, you'll need certain materials and some amount of Zeny, to perform the salvage operation.
The weapon you wish to exchange for superior stone must be in your inventory and it should have a +10 upgrade level.
The type of Superior Stone you receive depends on the grade of the weapon you are salvaging. For example, a grade 1 weapon will yield a grade 1 Superior Stone, a grade 2 weapon will yield a grade 2 Superior Stone, and so forth.

*A Weapon that only drops from monster loot boxes.
Weapon Level 3 and 4 can be exchange it for High Weapon Stone Weapon Level 1 and 2 can be exchange it for Low Weapon Stone
