# In-game Currency

## 1. Zeny

Zeny is the in-game currency for ROverse. Items from food, clothing, and weapons cost Zeny. Certain upgrades and consumables will include Zeny in its costs.

## 2. Refine materials

Refine Materials are used to upgrade weapons and wearable equipment through the refinement process. These materials are essential for improving the strength and capabilities of your gear. You can obtain Refine Materials from [MVP Rewards](/ragnarok-landverse-america/game-guide/daily-activities/mvp-hunting-rebalance.md#reward-from-the-mvp) and [mining](/ragnarok-landverse-america/game-guide/mining-system.md) in the [**Yggdrasil Rift**](/ragnarok-landverse-america/game-guide/yggdrasils-rift.md).
